Home & leisure

The fast-growing home & leisure sector encompasses a diverse range of products and services. But the requirement for copy is fairly universal: it needs to be interesting and engaging – with a strong call to action.

Home & leisure topics – by their very nature – tend to be easy to relate to, understand and write about. So not surprisingly, this is probably my favourite sector to work with.

Even if it isn’t an area that I already have personal experience of, I’m generally willing to find out more… especially if it involves food/drink, travel or the arts!

As well as being enjoyable to research, producing home & leisure content usually allows scope for creativity within the copy. This isn’t always possible, or indeed appropriate, with B2B projects.

Over the years I’ve immersed myself in the worlds of:

  • Art events
  • Caravanning
  • Furniture & joinery
  • Groundworks
  • Heating & plumbing
  • Holiday accommodation
  • Literary festivals
  • Luxury hotels
  • Office supplies
  • Regional tourism
  • Skip hire & rubbish removal
  • Swimming/swimming pools
  • Sustainable packaging
  • Transport & warehousing
